Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 6, 2025
Welcome to Lets Meet ("the app", "our app", "the service"), a service provided by The ByteSize App Company LLC ("ByteSize", “we,” “us,” or “our”). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use Lets Meet. By signing up and using our services, you agree to the collection and processing of your information as described in this policy.
This policy applies to all users of Lets Meet who explicitly approve this Privacy Policy during the signup process. If you have any questions or need assistance, you can contact us at hello@bytesize.co.
Information Collection
We collect and store only the information necessary to provide and operate the service efficiently while prioritizing user privacy.
Personal Information Collected
We collect only the details you provide during account signup and profile updates. This may include your name, email address, and any optional profile information you choose to share.
We may send you optional surveys occasionally to help us understand how you use the service and our products in general.
With your consent, we will also send you our newsletter and other product-related updates. You can be opted-out of newsletters at any time.
Payment Information
We do not collect or store credit card details or other personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what is necessary to create and maintain your account.
For payment processing, we use Stripe, a third-party service, and do not store any payment-related information on our servers. (Payment details do not pass through ByteSize servers.) We may store a record of the payment transaction, including the last 4 digits of credit card numbers and the card's brand for the purposes of account history, invoicing, and billing support.
We store your billing information, within Stripe, so we can charge you for the service, and send you invoices.
Product Interactions
We store on our servers the content that you upload, receive, or maintain in your Lets Meet accounts. This is so you can use our products as intended. If you delete your account, we'll permanently delete this content and all information used within 60 days.
Cookies & Tracking
We use first-party cookies strictly for the purpose of running the service, such as maintaining user sessions and preferences. No third-party analytics services or cookies are used for the service.
General Geolocation and Device Data
Our servers log and store IP addresses in some cases only for the purpose of mitigating and preventing fraudulent signups or other security concerns. We maintain this session and device data for as long as your accounts on the service are active.
Anti-Bot Preventions
We may utilize a CAPTCHA or other similar service from time to time to enforce security constraints and prevent spam bots from accessing the service. When you sign in to ByteSize accounts and fill in certain forms, the CAPTCHA service uses your IP address and other device information to try and prevent unauthorized access to the service.
Advertising
ByteSize may occasionally run ads on various third-party platforms. Users who click on one of our ads will be sent to a ByteSize marketing site. Where permissible under local law, we may load an advertising-supplied script on the marketing site only. These scripts may be used for the purpose of determining effectiveness of our ads, which ads were clicked, and specific keywords that may have triggered the ad to be served. No personal information or cookies are served from the service directly, and once you sign up for the service there is no direct link from advertising activity to your accounts.
Voluntary Correspondence
When you email our support team or contact us via other means, we keep that correspondence including your name and email address so we have a history of past correspondence to reference if you should reach out again in the future.
Calendar Access
To provide scheduling and meeting management features, Lets Meet connects with users’ calendars (such as Google Calendar) only with their explicit permission and authorization.
- User Consent: We do not access your calendar data or authentication credentials unless you have explicitly authorized our app to do so.
- Revoking Access: You can revoke access to your calendar at any time through your calendar provider’s settings (e.g., Google Account settings). Once revoked, we will no longer have access to your calendar data. Calendar data can also be revoked by disconnecting your calendar from the app at any time.
- Limited Access for Support: We do not access your calendar data or OAuth credentials without your explicit consent. In cases where customer support assistance requires access, we will seek your permission beforehand.

- Minimal Data Retention: We store the minimal amount of customer data necessary to provide the service.
- User-Controlled Deletion: If you request deletion of your data, we will immediately remove all stored information associated with your account from our systems.
